The club concept DZO DZO is back and have teamed up with rolemodel concept and collaborator RISE from Berlin and together presenting RISE residents and three of our absolute favourite DJs and producers.
There’s an African proverb that says, “If you want to go fast travel alone. If you want to go far travel together.” That’s the spirit of RISE.
RISE is an event company, record label, and a movement founded by Hyenah, Floyd Lavine, and Dede in 2015 to showcase quality artists who are from Africa or are influenced by African culture. RISE holds showcases and monthly parties at the famous Watergate Club in Berlin, but the collective has criss-crossed the globe, hosting RISE events across Europe, Africa, North & Central America and Asia.
